The purpose of this report is to summarize the initial findings of a study on Indigenous perspectives of archaeology in Canada and the United States. The goal of the study is to investigate the strengths and weaknesses of archaeologists in engaging with Indigenous communities. To do this, we conducted interviews with members of Indigenous communities about their experiences in archaeology.
